FSX Aerosim First Step to FSX 777

Aerosim is a Japanese developer of various MS Flight Simulator products.
Their Boeing 777-200 is part of the FSX Real Add-on Series No.1 "First
step for FSX" package. The package contains the 777-200 model (only
Pratt & Whitney power model), panel and virtual cockpit, engine
sounds, training missions and Shimojishima Airport scenery.

The exterior of this 777 model is very detailed, beautifully designed.
Flaps and especially the landing gear are very detailed. The main
landing gear animation is very realistic, the wheels are even steering
when taxiing! There are 3 detailed liveries included: Aerosim house
colors, Boeing dreamliner livery and bare metal. The panel looks nice,
but don't expect realistic systems programming, its functionality is
more like the default panels. Some buttons and switches are not
clickable. Still, it looks nice and everything works fine. Same for the
virtual cockpit, it looks nice, but limited functionality. There is no
FMC, fs flightplans are automatically loaded in the navigation system.

The flight dynamics are well balanced, you get the feel of flying a
heavy. The rudder moves in two parts like the real 777 and the effect is
realistic. The lift based wingflex can be seen from one of the
wingviews. Both the exterior and interior sounds are not bad, it
resembles the P&W4000 engines quite well. A few training adventures
are included and take place at the Shimojishima Airport. Too bad that
there aren't many liveries included, but there already a few repaints
available in the AVSIM Library.
